Video and screen sharing

Cameras, screen sharing, recorded video and picture settings.

Opening the video

• VIDEO opens the room's video window: you see the other musicians and your own camera. Anyone who arrives later asks to join, and one of those already there approves.
• Camera ON / Camera OFF turns your camera on and off without leaving the video. With more than one webcam, the Cam1, Cam2, Cam3 buttons appear (webcams are enabled in Settings > Video).
• Drag the tiles to move them; double-click one to enlarge it to full screen.

Sharing

• Share screen shows the others a whole screen or a single window, for example a score or the mixer.
• Load video streams a video file with its audio, which enters the mixer as a strip.

Picture and stats

• PICTURE adjusts brightness, contrast, gamma and saturation, and whether to mirror the preview or the image you send.
• STATS shows the resolution, frame rate and bandwidth of each video.
• Streaming quality is set in Settings > Video (APPLY to try it right away).

Recording

REC in the video window records video and audio to an MP4 file, in the Videos\GangJam folder: the audio is the jam, that is the others as you hear them plus what you send.
