Direct P2P connection

Playing as a duo even when the server can't be reached.

What it's for

The P2P button connects two PCs directly, without going through the GangJam server: it's the emergency connection for when the server doesn't respond. It works only for audio and only between two people: no rooms, video or chat.

How to use it

• Press P2P, enter the other musician's public IP address and the ports (usually 50050 for both), then CONNECT.
• The other musician must do the same with your address, and the ports must be reachable (port forwarding on the router).
• DISCONNECT closes the connection.

When to use it

When the server is working, a room is always simpler: no router setup, plus video, chat and more musicians.
